The Missing Hot Link... Found In Texas.
The Davila family has been in Texas long before it was even, well... a state, which means they know a little something about BBQ . Adrian Davila, Davila's third generation owner, is TV's latest buzzed-about pitmaster, learning the craft from his grandfather who opened this BBQ haven in 1959. Davila's BBQ does everything in-house—whether that's breaking down beef for the famed hot links or sauces inspired by Latino flavors. It's the hot links, however, that are the favorite here—a sausage Adrian's grandfather learned to craft from his family and sold to local restaurants before opening his own.
Using the same process over 50 years later, Davila's pitmasters still know how to make their hot links bling.
